What is CKERS?
CKERS helps people in the United States list used items, find products and local businesses, and hear from interested buyers. Prices are in US dollars. CKERS takes no cut of a used sale and does not handle payments between buyers and sellers.
How do I get started?
You can browse and search without an account. Create an account or sign in to buy, sell, or manage a business. The same account works for buying and selling. To use an assistant, open Connect and pick it. For Muse or Grokbot, copy the short note, paste it into the chat, follow the sign-in link, and tap Allow. For ChatGPT, Dots, or Claude, copy the address and choose sign-in when asked. Paste a code only if you see Finish connecting. Keep your password private.
Do I need to copy the detailed workflow guide?
No. Open Connect and follow the one step for your assistant. A connected assistant receives the rest of the guidance from CKERS. The full workflow guide is available separately if you want more detail. Available features depend on the assistant you use.
How do I list a used item?
Tell your connected assistant what you are selling, your asking price, its condition, any damage, and approximate location. Supply clear photos of your item. Your assistant helps you choose the matching product and prepare the listing. Review the details before approving publication, and keep the listing link for later edits.
What photos should I use?
Use clear photos of your own item, including the front, any damage, and a model label or barcode when possible. Stock images should not be used for a used-item listing. Photos are checked for safety; some may not be accepted or may need review before a listing can be published.
Is a catalog product the same as an item for sale?
A catalog product describes a model. A used offer describes a seller’s individual item, price, and condition. A product page can exist without an active used offer. Check the listing and contact its seller before arranging a purchase.
How do I contact a seller or make an offer?
Sign in and use Contact seller on the listing. You can include a message and an optional dollar offer. Your account contact details are shared privately with that seller, who replies through the contact information you provided. Arrange payment and shipping directly with the seller; CKERS does not host buyer chat or handle those arrangements.
How do sellers find out someone is interested?
Ask your connected assistant to check for new buyer interest. A buyer can send a message without offering a price. You can reply using the buyer’s contact details. CKERS does not send buyer-interest email notifications. Scheduled checks and alerts depend on your assistant, so confirm they are enabled if you want them.
Where can I see and edit my listings?
Open your CKERS Profile page to see your active listings. Your assistant can also list your active items and follow all result pages. To edit one, send it the listing link. You can change your own listing’s price, condition, notes, location, photos, and summaries. Manage your email, display name, phone, password, and private ZIP code in Settings.
When do listings expire, and what happens if I remove one?
Listings expire 30 days after publication or a successful seller update. Buyer activity does not extend that time. Removing a listing hides it immediately. Deleted listing data is kept privately for 30 days for compliance review before permanent removal. Editing cannot restore a deleted or expired listing. The shared catalog product remains.
How do local business searches and business profiles work?
Search with your US ZIP code or city and state to find businesses serving that area. A ZIP or city search on this website lists the nearest businesses first. You can save a private ZIP code for future searches and change it in Settings. Only manage a business you are authorized to represent, and review its public details before publishing. A hidden business profile stays stored and can be republished. Business reviews are not available on CKERS.
How do I claim an unclaimed business?
If claiming is available on a business profile, request verification only if you are authorized to manage it. Enter an email at the business website domain. The verification link is sent only when that domain matches. A different domain is not accepted. Open the link while signed in to the account that requested it. If the listing has no website, a website is required before an email can be verified. Email verification is not an endorsement of the business.
What information is public or private?
Listings and business profiles show the details you choose to publish. Your default profile ZIP code is private. Buyer contact messages are private to the seller. Support requests are private to you and authorized staff, and may be reviewed with AI assistance. Never include passwords, payment-card details, or identity documents in a support request.
