About
The United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) is a nonprofit, umbrella organization that supports 32 performing arts groups in Southeastern Wisconsin through its annual fundraising campaign. Our vision is to shape a diverse, vibrant and sustainable cultural life for all. UPAF supports a breadth of performing arts groups that collectively offer something for everyone through its 15 Member Groups and 17 Affiliates. More than one million people are touched each year through performances, educational outreach, special events and community partnerships.UPAF has raised over $244 million in support of the performing arts since its inception in 1967. In 2012, UPAF's annual community-wide fundraising campaign allocated over $7.6 million to its Member and Affiliate performing arts organizations.
